We are still on baby watch. My daughters due date is in 5 days. I'm so excited that I jump every time my phone rings thinking it could be the call that says they are heading to the hospital.
I wouldn't be in such a rush (or maybe I would be), but a month ago, my daughter went for an OB appt and her doctor said the worst thing ever: Wow, your little one has really dropped. There is no way you are going to go anywhere near your due date.
So for the past few weeks we've expecting that today is the day....and now we are down to just 5 days. So not nice for her doctor to get our hopes up that we would be meeting our first grandchild so soon. Obviously he never read the memo that babies don't care what Mr Doctor says. They will arrive when they are darn good and ready.
Although I must admit...I do wish today was THE day! 😉
